Running off a 240v single phase motor this is designed to be as simple as possible to use. Having 24v electric lock release mechanism means there is no need to for cumbersome compressors that many other lifts require you to have. In essence this is a self contained lift. A free standing lift this can be used without anchoring down to the floor, spreading the load on the large baseplates.

This lift comes with a mobility kit that can be attached to allow the lift to be moved around the garage or even taken out on to the drive if it is a nice day. The lightest in our range of split platform mid rise scissor lifts, so most suitable for those who wish to move the lift on their own. Keeping with the rest of the Strongman range the up ramps can be hinged up to extend the lifting bed for longer wheel base vehicles. Whilst still designed as a wheels free lift you may find you need to use these upramps for vehicles such as Land Rover Defenders.

240V single phase 2.2kw motor - 16 amp Cee-form socket on lift, requires C or D type motor rated braker in consumer unit. Lift does not come supplied with hydraulic oil. Lifts do not come with hydraulic oil, this will need to be sourced locally, 8 litres of iso32 hydraulic oil. The use of a forklift makes getting the lift out of the box a doddle.

However it can also be done with trolley jacks and an engine crane. It is imperative that you understand there is a small amount of self assembly to do on this lift once it is received, including attaching up ramps, limit switches, filling with oil, adjusting locking mechanism and down speed. This is all possible for a competent home mechanic to do themselves, if not we suggest you consider getting a garage equipment engineer to install your lift. Hydraulic oil is not supplied with the lift, you will need to provide 7-8 litres of iso32 hydraulic oil.
