Just with a few simple steps, you can prepare a comfortable bed by adding this bed extension to the rear of you van. It is easy to assemble and fix to the locking rails of the van. When not required as a bed it can be used as dividing shelf for better utilization of the boot space.

Because of the board sturdiness, it can carry heavy loads. The product now features supportive mechanism which allows the board to remain in upright position once lifted.

This is a great add on to our very successful and highly appreciated bed extension. 1/Consoles: Two consoles made of brushed stainless steel with stainless steel hinges. Now we have redesigned them to allow more functionality. We added two struts (one for each console) for easy lifting/dropping off of the board. Also bottom end stabilizers to eliminate side movements when driving.

The mattress is made of hard wearing and top quality car upholstery material, filled with 6 cm quality foam for the ultimate comfort experience.

6 cm thick, high density: 42 g/dm, and a compressible strength of 5,5. Sewn in three sections so folds easily. It goes in a carry bag for easy storage when not in use. The material used is hypoallergenic. The foam cores are not removable.

The mattress is made to measure to fit over the top of the original folding seats to add extra comfort and help protect against the lumps and bumps. The height of the consoles is 50.5 cm and precisely corresponds to the height of the third seat (bench) when reclined, so that they can make an even surface for the mattress.

You do not need any tools to fix the consoles to the rails. They can be easily mounted to the rails with the anchors and nuts provided. The T-shaped anchors have a groove at the top. When the groove is parallel to the rail, it is in unlocked position.

When perpendicular to the rail is locked. The board gets fixed to the hinges with the screws provided. The hinges allow the board to lift in an upright position in order to create ample space for bulky loads.

This board fits into all SWB and LWB VW T5 / T6 Caravelle/Multivan models from 2003 up to date with a long bottom locking rails on the floor.
